The salaries of Armenian researchers with PhD and DPhil degrees will rise by 25-30% this year, according to Samvel Harutyunyan, head of the State Science Committee.

YEREVAN, January 14. / ARKA /. The salaries of Armenian researchers with PhD and DPhil degrees will rise by 25-30% this year, according to Samvel Harutyunyan, head of the State Science Committee.
Speaking at a news conference today he said researchers with DPhil degree involved in government-financed research and technical projects will get additionally 50,000 drams and researchers with PhD degree- 25,000 drams, up from 20,000 and 10,000 respectively.
Speaking about the prospects of science in 2015, Harutyunyan said Armenia’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union is expected to deepen scientific and technical cooperation with the member states. ($ 1 - 477.04 drams) -0-
