YEREVAN, February 3. /ARKA/. Armenian Foreign Ministry denied today media reports which say that foreigners, including citizens of Armenia, can enter Georgia if they have a negative test for coronavirus. The ministry said a new regulation approved by the Georgian government, did not include Armenia in the list of the countries whose citizens can enter the country with a negative test for COVID-19.

The Foreign Ministry noted that Armenian citizens can cross the Georgian border exclusively by air after receiving a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 (two doses).

The Georgian government decided to restore regular flights in all directions from February 1, which were completely suspended in mid-March 2020. Currently, one can fly from Georgia and back to 12 countries - Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, France, Austria, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Armenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.

There will be two flights a week to the Armenian capital Yerevan - on Wednesdays and Sundays. Flights will not take place only on February 3 and 7. Instead, an additional flight will be scheduled on February 5. -0-
