In 2025, 2,263,642 tourists visited Armenia, compared to 2,208,179 tourists in January-December 2024, the Tourism Committee reported.
YEREVAN, January 13. /ARKA/. In 2025, 2,263,642 tourists visited Armenia, compared to 2,208,179 tourists in January-December 2024, the Tourism Committee reported.
In December 2025, 139,933 tourists visited Armenia, compared to 130,148 tourists in December 2024.
The committee noted that the largest number of tourist visits last year came from Russia (921,704 people, or 41%), Georgia (2,588,578 people, 13%), and Iran (182,364 people, 8%).
Within the framework of the Strategic Program for Tourism Development in the Republic for 2026–2030 developed by the Armenian government, it is planned to increase the number of tourists visiting the country to 3 million per year.
