Armenia's resident population increased in 2025, exceeding 3.09 million
As per the latest figures, the population of Armenia on January 1, 2026, stood at 3,097,000, an increase from 3,076,200 on January 1, 2025. This information comes from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.The urban population in Armenia reached 1,980,900, with Yerevan accounting for 1,147,600 of those urban residents. Meanwhile, the rural population was recorded at 1,161,100.
In 2025, the population viability rate, which measures the ratio of births to deaths, was 125.3%, a decrease from 132.1% in 2024.-0-
