Armenia-based mobile and internet operators pay less taxes in 2018 than in 2017
Four Armenia-based mobile and internet operators -VivaCell-MTS, Veon Armenia, Ucom and Rostelecom- paid a total of 20.9 billion drams in taxes in 2018, down from 24.7 billion drams they had paid in 2017, according to figures, released by the State Revenue Committee (SRC). The drop amounted to 15.3%, it said.

Armenia’s three telecommunications companies –ArmenTel, ViaCell-MTS and Ucom - paid a total of 23.7 billion drams in various taxes for the first 9 months of 2016, down from 29.4 billion drams they had paid for the same time span in 2015, according to the State Revenue Committee (SRC).
