Ameria Generation program launched on Thursday in Yerevan

YEREVAN, September 27. / ARKA /. The "Ameria Generation” program was launched on Thursday in Yerevan to have incorporated 34 young people into America’s team, the bank told ARKA in a press release. 

The winners of the project have successfully overcome four qualifying stages. 

Some one thousand applicants from Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh participated in the contest and some 458 applicants were selected for the first stage. Sixty-three of them who passed through the next two stages were invited for interviews. The winners were decided based on the results of a test and a motivating letter and oral interview.

"We are happy that the program has received a great response among young people, because our goal was to identify young, ambitious and motivated young specialists who are able to adapt to changes and innovation, are endowed with creative innovative thinking, and we expect that with their help we will be able to form a new generation of leaders, " Ofelia Kamalian, responsible for staff recruitment, said.

"The project will provide an opportunity to recent graduates with no experiences to begin their careers with Ameriabank and gain knowledge in a business environment, study and work side by side with highly skilled professionals,” she said.
