Armenia to take part in Foodex Saudi-2024 in Riyadh
YEREVAN, 13 September. /ARKA/. Armenia will take part with a separate national pavilion in ‘Foodex Saudi-2024’ international exhibition of food and beverages to be held on 16-19 September in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
According to the Ministry of Economy, the products of 26 Armenian companies are planned to be presented at the exhibition. Meetings between buyers and businessmen are also planned, as well as a competition of professional chefs organised by the World Association of Chefs‘ Communities and the Saudi Arabian Chefs’ Association.
Fifteen countries with national pavilions will take part in this year's Saudi exhibition, as well as about 500 companies and representatives of retail chains from 75 countries, and about 20,000 visitors are expected.
Foodex Saudi is Saudi Arabia's leading international trade exhibition, dedicated to the food and beverage industry. It is the largest food and beverage market in the Gulf region with an annual growth rate of 18%. Guests include over 8,000 trade visitors from the food and beverage sector and 200 foodies from Saudi Arabia's leading chef competition.
The exhibition will host Salon Culinaire, a professional chef competition endorsed by the World Association of Chef Communities, Saudi Arabian Chefs Table Circle and Saudi Arabian Chefs Association, which showcases the skills and talents of competing chefs from several leading hotels and restaurants.-0-
