YEREVAN, July 7. /ARKA/. Industrial output in Armenia in January-May 2026 amounted to 1,265,799.5 million drams, an increase of 12.2% compared to January-May 2025. This is evidenced by data published by the Statistical Committee.

In May alone, industrial output amounted to 262,994.4 million drams, which is 9.5% more than in May 2025 and 1.2% higher than in April 2026.
The manufacturing industry accounted for the largest volume of industrial output from January to May, at 784,112.3 million drams (an 8.6% increase year-on-year). It was followed by mining and open-pit mining, at 295,650.9 million drams (an increase of 32.1%); electricity, gas, steam, and purified air supply, at 173,180.0 million drams (an increase of 6.5%); and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and recycling, at 12,856.3 million drams (an increase of 4.4%).

The manufacturing industry accounted for the largest share of industrial output in January-May 2026, at 61.9%. The share of the mining industry and open-pit mining is 23.4%, the supply of electricity, gas, steam and purified air is 13.7%, and water supply, sewerage, waste management and recycling is 1.0%.
