YEREVAN, July 7. /ARKA/. Membership in the European Union is not a sprint, but a marathon, stated Vasilis Maragos, Head of the EU Delegation to Yerevan, speaking about the timeline for Armenia's possible accession to the EU.

"This is not a process that can be completed by simply concentrating and completing it very quickly. It is a marathon that has repeatedly proven its effectiveness, producing concrete results and tangible benefits," Maragos said in an interview with Armenian Public Television.

According to him, the EU partnership with Armenia in various formats will continue to strengthen.
