YEREVAN, August 24. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that there is currently an opportunity to sell the Armenian Railways concession rights for approximately $400 million.
"This is a good opportunity. This package may also include components that will create a more favorable environment for Russia's interests," Pashinyan said while presenting the government's program for 2026-2031, approved on August 20, to the National Assembly.
The prime minister urged the government to take advantage of this opportunity.
"We have great respect for Russia's interests, but it would be illogical to put the interests of any country above those of our country," Pashinyan stated.
