YEREVAN, August 24. /ARKA/. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev plans to visit Armenia in October, the Armenian government press service reported following his telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
During the conversation, Pashinyan and Tokayev also exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation in implementing regional transport programs and emphasized the importance of developing multifaceted cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan.
The parties agreed to continue discussing the bilateral agenda during the Kazakh leader's upcoming visit.
The Armenian Prime Minister congratulated Tokayev on the successful conduct of the Kurultai elections, noting that the results demonstrate broad support among Kazakh citizens for the president's reform agenda.
Tokayev thanked Pashinyan for his congratulations and warm wishes.
