YEREVAN, August 24. /ARKA/. The Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project will lift Armenia from the blockade, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated.
"The TRIPP project, which will be implemented on the territory of Armenia based on the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction of Armenia, will lift the republic from the blockade," Pashinyan noted at a session of the Armenian National Assembly on Monday during a discussion of the government's program for 2026-2031, approved on August 20.
According to him, the blockade of Armenia has now been partially lifted, as the Azerbaijani railway through Georgia has been open for imports to and exports from Armenia since November 2025, and the Akhalkalaki-Kars railway was opened for imports to and exports from Armenia in May.
