YEREVAN, November 7. / ARKA /. Armenia’s Mika Cement plant in central Kotayk province said today it had produced already the planned amount of cement after the resumption of operation this past September and has in stock enough cement for future sales.

The company said in a press release that the plant is usually brought to a halt at this time of the year for scheduled maintenance work. The plant, as usual, will be restarted in February 2015 before the start of the construction season in Armenia, it said.

The company said also it had paid the bulk of wage arrears and that the remaining debt will be paid before the end of this year.

Mika-Cement is one of the largest cement plants in the region, whose products meet European quality standards and are widely known outside the country. -0-
