New Armenian airline to launch flights from Yerevan to four Russian cities

YEREVAN, March 6. /ARKA/. Armenian Airlines, a carrier established in December 2022, will launch regular flights from the Armenian capital to Russian Moscow, Samara, Vladikavkaz and Sochi, Interfax-Tourism reported, citing Rosaviatsiya, the Russian Federal Agency for Air Transport.
The company's fleet consists of A321 aircraft. According to the Sochi Airport, the flights to Sochi will be operated twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, by Airbus A321 with 220 seats. Travel time is 1.5 hours.
"The Sochi - Yerevan route is one of the most popular international destinations among our passengers. The new route will provide more travel and business opportunities for tourists from both countries, » noted Alexander Nikonov, Director of Aviation Commerce of Aerodynamika Group.
At the moment the flights to Yerevan from Sochi airport are operated by Russian air carriers Utair, Aeroflot Group, Azimut, Red Wings, as well as FlyOne Armenia. --0--
