In the first quarter of 2025, the gross output of Armenia's agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors amounted to about 121.5 billion drams in current prices, increasing by 10% compared to the same period in 2024, the National Statistical Committee reports.

YEREVAN, May 8. /ARKA/. In the first quarter of 2025, the gross output of Armenia's agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors amounted to about 121.5 billion drams in current prices, increasing by 10% compared to the same period in 2024, the National Statistical Committee reports.

The agricultural output during the reporting period increased by 10.5% to 97.5 billion drams, including 74.6 billion drams worth livestock production, an increase of 2.5% compared to January-March last year, while crop production increased by 53.3% to 22.8 billion drams.

In the first quarter of the current year, 16.6 thousand tons of meat of farm animals and poultry for slaughter (live weight) were sold with an increase of 5.1%, and 122.2 thousand tons of milk (a decrease of 0.7%) and 134.6 million eggs (an increase of 11.7%) were produced.

In forestry, the production amounted to 502.7 million drams (an increase of 80.2%), and in fisheries to 23.6 million drams (an increase of 5.9%). ($1 - 389.25 drams) -0-
