According to preliminary data, consumer prices in Armenia increased by 4.5% in January-May 2026 compared to January-May 2025, the Statistical Committee reports.
YEREVAN, June 25. /ARKA/. According to preliminary data, consumer prices in Armenia increased by 4.5% in January-May 2026 compared to January-May 2025, the Statistical Committee reports.
In May of this year, compared to May of last year, the increase was 4.2%, while compared to April of this year, a decline of 0.8% was recorded.
Industrial product prices increased by 8.9% in the first five months of 2026 compared to the same period last year. In May, year-on-year growth was 9%, while compared to April, prices increased by 1.6%. According to preliminary data, Armenia's economic activity indicator for January-May 2026 increased by 8% compared to the same period in 2025.
