Armenia's foreign trade turnover in January-May 2026 amounted to $7,864.7 million, down 0.1% compared to the same period in 2025, the Statistical Committee reports.
YEREVAN, May 26. /ARKA/. Armenia's foreign trade turnover in January-May 2026 amounted to $7,864.7 million, down 0.1% compared to the same period in 2025, the Statistical Committee reports.
In May of this year, the figure decreased by 5.3% compared to May of last year, and by 5.6% compared to April of this year.
For January-May 2026, foreign trade turnover in dram equivalent amounted to 2,953.8 billion drams.
Armenia's exports in January–May 2026 decreased by 3.7% compared to the same period in 2025, amounting to $2,864.9 million. A decline of 11.5% was recorded in May compared to May of last year, and a 4.7% decline compared to April of this year. In dram equivalent, exports in January–April 2026 amounted to 1,076.3 billion drams.
Imports for the first five months amounted to $4,999.8 million, an increase of 2.2% compared to the same period in 2025. In May, imports decreased by 1.6% year-on-year and by 6.1% month-on-month. In dram equivalent, imports for January–May amounted to 1,877.5 billion drams.
