PM says $856 million worth investments implemented last year

Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan told the Armenian parliament today that about $856 million worth investment projects had been carried out last year.
YEREVAN, February 7. /ARKA/. Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan told the Armenian parliament today that about $856 million worth investment projects had been carried out last year.
At the beginning of 2017, Karapetyan said his government had received 471 investment proposals from private firms, various government ministries and local communities, of which 345 worth a combined $3.2 billion were considered by the government to be “realistic” and at least $830 million of that amount could be invested in 2017.
Karapetyan said today that after summing up the results of those investment projects it appeared that a total of $856 million had been injected in various projects last year, of which $580 million by the private sector.
He said another 190 billion drams worth investments had been implemented by the ministry of territorial administration and development in the regions of the country. ($ 1 - 482.35 drams). -0-
