VTB Bank (Armenia) has summed up the results of the 3rd and final stage of a special promotion offer #noncash marathon, conducted in conjunction with the MasterCard payment system.
YEREVAN, October 2. /ARKA/. VTB Bank (Armenia) has summed up the results of the 3rd and final stage of a special promotion offer #noncash marathon, conducted in conjunction with the MasterCard payment system.
The bank said some 183 active participants were invited to the prize giving ceremony, which was held at the head office of the bank. According to the terms of the offer, they themselves selected prizes on this website. In total, according to the results of all 3 stages, 270 participants won prizes.
The list of prizes included eight iPhone X iPhone X smartphones, seven iPads, seven Apple watches, one year membership to the Multi Wellness Fitness Center, 30 Canyon Powerbanks, 10 gift certificates of Mary Perfume store, 15 certificates for dinner for two in the Cascade Royal restaurant, as well as Pandora jewelry and other valuable gifts.
The special offer lasted for 3 months: it started on June 15th and ran until September 15th of the current year inclusively. The bank said that compared to last year, a 30% increase in cashless turnover was recorded. Compared to last year, an increase of 10% was recorded in the Internet environment, which this year amounted to 30% of all non-cash transactions. Approximately 15% of them were made in the tourism sector, 14% in supermarkets, and about 10% in restaurants and entertainment centers.
The bank said all these indicators testify to greater customer interest, positive dynamics in increasing the share of cashless payments and improving market conditions for the successful implementation of such activities.
