The ArmRosgazprom CJSC has prolonged the gas-supply installation Action without Up-Front Money.

YEREVAN, May 26. /ARKA/. The ArmRosgazprom CJSC has prolonged the gas-supply installation Action without Up-Front Money. “Meeting the wishes of numerous citizens, the ArmRozgasprom CJSC is prolonging the Action without Up-Front Money until October 1, 2009, on the following terms: the citizens that apply for gas-supply installation within the terms set by contracts before October 1 will pay 80% of the amount and will be exempted from the 40,000 AMD prepayments, reported the company.

As of May 22, the 580 thousandth gas user was connected to the Armenian gas-supply system.

ArmRosGazprom (ARG) was founded in 1997 as a joint Russian-Armenian natural gas pipeline project.

The company organizes the gas supply for Armenia's domestic gas market.

Russian gas is supplied to Armenia via Georgia. Gazprom’s share in the company authorized capital is 80%, the Armenian Government share being 20%. P.T. –0--
