YEREVAN, September 8. /ARKA/. Armenia's gas network, as of 1st of September of 2010 has subscribed 604871 customers, the press service of ArmRosgazprom reported to ARKA News Agency.
According to the report, the first eight months of this year, the number of actual gas consumers of ArmRosGazprom increased by 8518, including 1,245 subscribers joined in August.
Armenia is among the top three countries in terms of gasification.
ArmRosGazprom is a monopolist in the supply and distribution of Russian natural gas in the Armenian market supplied in transit through Georgia.
The company was founded in 1997.
The share of Gazprom in the company's share capital is 80% and the rest belongs to the Government of Armenia. –0—
