Armenian Economy Ministry announces a competition of business ideas for the Economic Development Fund in Gyumri, the ministry says on its Internet site.
YEREVAN, October 13. /ARKA/. Armenian Economy Ministry announces a competition of business ideas for the Economic Development Fund in Gyumri, the ministry says on its Internet site.
The aim of the fund is to control and implement programs implied in the Technology Park Concept.
The best business ideas aimed at this city’s development will be selected through this competition.
Applications should contain description of an idea, expected results, areas for application of this idea and brief description of implementation stages.
A new company will be established under participation of the fund and the competition winner - company or individual.
Financial resources being invested for participation in the authorized capital will be targeted for the top-priority events.
The deadline for sending applications is set at November 12, 2010. Applications should be submitted to the economy ministry.
The technology park creation program was approved by the government on March 2, 2006.
On April 9, 2009, the government approved the program of governmental support for the technology park’s activity, which is mainly focused on advanced and information technologies, arts, modeling, jewelry business and tourism.
The technology park is planned to act as incubator of small- and mid-scale businesses, which will engage in science intensive production. -0--
