President Serzh Sargsyan participated today in the opening of the 10-th food exposition Armprodexpo-2010. Some 66 companies from Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovenia, the Netherlands and other countries are showcasing their products.

YEREVAN November 23, /ARKA/. President Serzh Sargsyan participated today in the opening of the 10-th food exposition Armprodexpo-2010. Some 66 companies from Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovenia, the Netherlands and other countries are showcasing their products.

Armen Davtian, director general of Agri Business Development Center, that has organized the exhibition, said the participating companies are leaders in their countries and they are interested in wholesale purchase of Armenia-made foods.

Agriculture minister Gerasim Alaverdian said the goal of this exhibition is to show the best samples of locally manufactured food products and promote Armenian exports. The exhibition will run through November 26. It is organized with the support of the ministry of agriculture, foreign ministry, Yerevan municipality and Trade and Commerce Chamber of Armenia.-0-
