The fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Tajikistan was held in Dushanbe, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy reported.

YEREVAN, April 22. /ARKA/. The fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Tajikistan was held in Dushanbe, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy reported.

During the meeting, the possibilities of expanding cooperation between Armenia and Tajikistan in various sectors of the economy, in particular, in the fields of industry, high technology, agriculture and education, were on the discussion agenda.

“Our countries strive to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of digital economy, innovation, cybersecurity and high technology,” said Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan.

The Minister presented Armenia’s economic development policy and the government’s economic priorities based on attracting investment, developing a competitive, more efficient and technologically advanced industry, consistently improving the business environment, developing tourism and increasing the efficiency of agriculture. -0-
