Armenia posts highest construction sector growth across Eurasian Economic Union

The construction sectors across the Eurasian Economic Union (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia) grew by 9.3% from January to October 2023 compared to the same period of the previous year.
YEREVAN, January 11. /ARKA/. The construction sectors across the Eurasian Economic Union (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia) grew by 9.3% from January to October 2023 compared to the same period of the previous year.
The growth was observed in all countries. The highest rate was in Armenia (38.7%) and Kyrgyzstan (26.6%). Next were Kazakhstan with 12.5%, Belarus with 12.4% and Russia with 8.1% growth.
According to the National Statistical Committee of Armenia, the construction sector in the first 11 months of 2023 grew by 15.6% year-on-year to AMD 493 billion ($1 - AMD 405.48). -0-
