Armenian capital ranks 115th in the ranking of most expensive cities for business trips

Armenian capital Yerevan has overtaken Baku (Azerbaijan) and Tbilisi (Georgia) in the ranking of cities in terms of living expenses for employees on international business trips, according to the American consulting company Mercer.

YEREVAN, January 21. /ARКА/. Armenian capital Yerevan has overtaken Baku (Azerbaijan) and Tbilisi (Georgia) in the ranking of cities in terms of living expenses for employees on international business trips, according to the American consulting company Mercer.

In the 2024 city cost of living ranking, the Armenian capital ranked 115th out of 226 cities, falling 15 positions compared to 2023. Baku ranked 171st (up 6 positions), and Tbilisi 188th (down 7 positions).
Hong Kong, Singapore, and Zurich were once again recognized as the most expensive cities to live in. And the lowest prices for expatriates were in Islamabad (Pakistan), Lagos (Nigeria), and Abuja (the capital of Nigeria).
