Armenian industrial output in 11 months increased by 7.6%, up to 2.7 trillion drams
YEREVAN, 14 January. /ARKA/. Armenia's industrial output in January-November 2024 totalled about 2.7 trillion drams, (in current prices), increasing by 7.6% compared to the same period of 2023. the National Statistical Committee said.
The industrial output in November alone totalled 274.2 billion drams, a decline of 19% against November 2023 and 0.5% against October 2024.
The mining industry's output stood at 429.5 billion drams (a decrease of 8% compared to the same period of 2023), while the manufacturing sector was worth over 1.9 trillion drams (an increase of 10.8%).
The supply of electricity, gas, steam and purified air was AMD 311 billion (up 12.6%), and water supply, sewerage, waste management and recycling was AMD 28,981.1 million (up 5.7%).
The largest share was contributed by the manufacturing sector- 71.2% of the total. The share of the mining industry made 16.1%, supply of electricity, gas, steam and purified air - 11.6%, and that of water supply, sewerage, waste management and recycling - 1.1%. ($1 - AMD 397.22) -0-.
