Armenia's State Revenue Committee (SRC) collected AMD 2 trillion 221 billion of revenues in 2023, which is AMD 296 billion more than in 2022, SRC Chairman Rustam Badasyan said today.

YEREVAN, January 11. /ARKA/. Armenia's State Revenue Committee (SRC) collected AMD 2 trillion 221 billion of revenues in 2023, which is AMD 296 billion more than in 2022, SRC Chairman Rustam Badasyan said today.

He told a press conference that the growth was recorded in all types of taxes, except for royalties for the use of natural resources, which decreased due to the decline in global metal prices.

He also said that in 2023, SRC officers conducted a total of 1,186 comprehensive audits, which resulted in the recovery of AMD 38.4 billion.

In addition, 55 billion drams were recovered as a result of companies' internal investigations.

Badasyan noted that since last year, large corporations operating in Armenia, such as META, Google and so on, have also started paying taxes - a total of 2.5 billion drams . ($1 is 405.48 drams). --0--
