YEREVAN, January 20. /ARKA/. The Eurasian Development Bank forecasts that consumer price growth in Armenia will remain at 3.3% in 2026, close to the Central Bank of Armenia's target of 3±1%. This is stated in the EDB's weekly macroeconomic review.

"Inflation in Armenia amounted to 3.3% y/y at the end of 2025, after 3.1% y/y in November. A slight acceleration in December was due to food costs (4.3% y/y in December after 3.8% y/y the previous month), which is related to global price dynamics," the report states.

The EDB also noted that in December, inflation in the services sector accelerated (3.1% y-o-y after 2.9% y-o-y), while price growth in the non-food segment stabilized (0.9% y-o-y).

The Armenian state budget for 2026 projects inflation at 3% (±1%). According to the Central Bank's monetary policy report for the fourth quarter of last year, inflation in Armenia is expected to be 3.8-2.6% by the end of 2026, depending on scenario (A-B), with a forecast of 3.3-2.8% for 2027.

The World Bank expects inflation in Armenia to be 4% in 2026. The IMF forecasts price growth of 3% in 2026, while the EDB expects inflation in Armenia to be 3.3% by the end of this year.
