The volume of agricultural, forestry, and fish farming output in Armenia in the first quarter of 2026, at current prices, amounted to 119,525.3 million drams, a decrease of 3.2% compared to the same period in 2025.

YEREVAN, May 14. /ARKA/. The volume of agricultural, forestry, and fish farming output in Armenia in the first quarter of 2026, at current prices, amounted to 119,525.3 million drams, a decrease of 3.2% compared to the same period in 2025. This was reported by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

Thus, agricultural production during the reporting period decreased by 5.2% to 96,359.6 million drams. Livestock production totaled 76,371.5 million drams, a 1.8% decline compared to January-March last year, while crop production totaled 19,988.1 million drams, a 16.6% decline.

In the first quarter of this year, 16.2 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat for slaughterhouses (live weight) were sold in the republic, a 2.3% decline. 118.6 thousand tons of milk (a 2.9% decline) and 139.6 million eggs (an increase of 3.7%) were also produced.

Forestry production totaled 735.9 million drams for January-March (an increase of 46.4%), while fisheries production totaled 22,429.8 million drams (an increase of 3.9%). ($1 - 368.63 drams).
