Armenia to chair meeting of Supreme Eurasian Economic Council
YEREVAN, May 8. /ARKA/. An Armenian delegation led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has left for the Russian capital Moscow to chair a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council slated for May 8.
Armenia holds the rotating 12-month presidency of the Eurasian Economic Union.
According to the Eurasian Economic Commission, the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), the meeting’s will discuss a set of issues on the development of the Eurasian economic integration until 2025, the launch of negotiations with Mongolia on the conclusion of a temporary trade agreement between the EEU and that country.
The leaders of the EEU member states will also sign a protocol on the electronic exchange of information between the EEU member states and Vietnam.
The Eurasian Economic Union is comprised of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. -0-
