YEREVAN, 10 August. /ARKA/. The Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia reported that a 5-point intensity earthquake occurred in eastern Armenia.
As per the report, on August 10 at 11:11 PM local time (7:11 PM GMT), the Armenian seismic network detected a magnitude 3.8 earthquake. The epicenter was situated 26 km northeast of Vardenis in the Gegarkunik region.
The tremor was felt in Vardenis and Martuni , as well as in the villages of Sotk, Tsovak, Vardenik, Karchakhbyur, Tsovinar, and Kut, with an intensity ranging from 2 to 3 points. -0-
