"In Stepanakert, we found similar weapons in almost all streets, but at the moment we can say that they are 90-95% safe," he said at a press briefing at the Artsakh Information Center.
Arzumanyan said that now the Ministry of Emergency Situations is working to detect unexploded shells in the capital Stepanakert and destroy them.
"All unexploded weapons are found, transported to a safe place outside the borders of Stepanakert and destroyed there," he said.
He said citizens may call 911, 112 to report the unexploded shells.
“It happens that an unexploded shell ends up in the courtyard of a private house, where it is physically impossible to detect it if the owner does not report about it to rescuers,” he said.
