Karabakh serviceman wounded from Azeri commandos’ attack dies in hospital

Samvel Hakobyan, twenty-year old serviceman of Nagorno-Karabakh army of defense, who was wounded in repelling the recent Azeri military attack on Karabakh positions, died in the central military hospital in Stepanakert on Thursday at 09:40, the press office of Karabakh ministry of defense reported.
STEPANAKERT, March 26. /ARKA/. Samvel Hakobyan, twenty-year old serviceman of Nagorno-Karabakh army of defense, who was wounded in repelling the recent Azeri military attack on Karabakh positions, died in the central military hospital in Stepanakert on Thursday at 09:40, the press office of Karabakh ministry of defense reported.
On Thursday March 19 at 08:30 local time an Azerbaijani special force squad attacked Karabakh positions deployed in the northern direction (Gulistan). After nearly two-hour battle Karabakh troops made the Azeri squad run away. Then they pursued and completely destroyed it on the outskirts of the enemy positions. Three Karabakh military were killed and another four soldiers were wounded.
The ministry of defense shares the grief and condoles with the family and the friends of Samvel Hakobyan, says the report. –0--
