YEREVAN, July 11. /ARKA/. The second 5 point earthquake on Richter scale was recorded this morning in Armenia.
The 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck 15 km northeast of Bavra village on the border with Georgia at 09:10 local time (05:10 GMT) on July 11.
Its origin was located at a depth of 10 km and the force of the earthquake was 5 points. The earthquake was felt in Shirak, Lori, Tavush and Aragatsotn regions.
The first 6 point earthquake was recorded about 2 hours before that at 07:36 (03:36 GMT) 14 km to the east from Bavra village. Its magnitude was 4.4. The earthquake was felt in Shirak, Lori, Aragatsotn regions and in the capital Yerevan. --0--
