Woman dies from severe burns after fire in Yerevan

The woman, who suffered severe burns in fire at an apartment in the outskirts of Yerevan, died on Wednesday, Novosti-Armenia reports referring to the country’s burns center.

YEREVAN, February 11. /ARKA/. The woman, who suffered severe burns in fire at an apartment in the outskirts of Yerevan, died on Wednesday, Novosti-Armenia reports referring to the country’s burns center.
According to Armenia’s Investigative Committee, a fire broke out at 05:20 local time on Monday, in Giulikyokhvyan 23/1, apartment 48, Yerevan. Forty-seven year old Anna Badalyan with class IV burns to the entire body and her nine-year old son with open skull fracture and burns were transported to hospital.
The boy is currently treated in Erebuni Medical Center, the National Burn Center said. A criminal case is instituted on infliction of grievous bodily harm and intended damaging property by fire, the investigation is under way. –0—
