The most expensive city in the region is Yerevan, which occupies 184th place (the higher the place, the more expensive is the life in this city). Next are Istanbul (188th), Tbilisi (236th), Moscow (250th), Baku (252nd), Batumi (260th) and Tehran (282nd).
Life in the Armenian capital turned out to be even more expensive than in Beijing, which ranks 209th.
The most expensive cities in the world are Swiss Zurich, Lausanne and Geneva, while the most affordable are Lahore, Alexandria and Coimbatore.-0-
