Armenia’s Rescue Service and the UN Disaster Management Team of Armenia will sign a cooperation agreement on October 10.
YEREVAN, October 9. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Rescue Service and the UN Disaster Management Team of Armenia will sign a cooperation agreement on October 10.
The UN Yerevan Office told ARKA that UN Permanent Coordinator in Armenia Consuelo Vidal and Director of Armenia’s Rescue Service, Lieutenant-General Edik Barseghyan.
Within the event it is planned to award the winners of school contest of drawings and essays on “Reduction of disaster danger starts from school”, organized by Armenia’s Rescue Service.
The best works will be exhibited in the hall of the UN Armenian Office.
October 10 is commemorated in the world as an International Day for reduction of influence of national disasters. L.M. –0--
