The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict cannot be settled before the presidential election in Armenia, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian told a press conference today.
YEREVAN, January 9. /ARKA/. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict cannot be settled before the presidential election in Armenia, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian told a press conference today.
The settlement of the conflict before the elections is extremely desirable still not possible due to the pre-election strain, Oskanian said.
Since 1992 negotiations have been held on peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the scope of OSCE Minsk Group chaired by the USA, Russia and France.
The presidential election is to be held in Armenia on February 19. –0—
