Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan welcomed the peace agreement reached between the United States and Iran.
YEREVAN, June 15. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan welcomed the peace agreement reached between the United States and Iran.
"We highly appreciate the mediation efforts undertaken by Pakistan, Qatar, Turkey, and other countries. We hope that this significant event will pave the way for a comprehensive and lasting peace throughout the Middle East," Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that the US and Iran had reached a peace agreement, under which the US announced the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the lifting of the blockade of Iranian ports.
The official signing ceremony for the peace agreement will take place on June 19 in Switzerland.
