An earthquake in Georgia was felt in several settlements in the Shirak and Lori regions of Armenia, the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports.

YEREVAN, July 26. /ARKA/. An earthquake in Georgia was felt in several settlements in the Shirak and Lori regions of Armenia, the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports.

According to the service, on July 25 at 5:16 PM local time (1:16 PM GMT), the service's seismological network registered an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2.

The epicenter was located in Georgia, 7 km northwest of the town of Dmanisi. The earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 10 km.

The intensity of the tremors in the epicentral zone was magnitude 4.

In Armenia, the earthquake was felt with an intensity of 2-3 points in the villages of Sizavet, Bavra, Saragyukh and Ashotsk in the Shirak region, as well as in the city of Tashir and the villages of Paghaghbyur, Metsavan and Sarchapet in the Lori region.
