Ministry of Finance: Armenia's state budget executed with a surplus in the first half of the year, revenues increased by 14.7%, expenditures by 7%

In the first half of 2026, Armenia's state budget revenues amounted to 1.643 trillion drams, achieving 106% of the target set in the revised budget plan for the reporting period, the press service of the Ministry of Finance reported.

YEREVAN, July 24. /ARKA/. In the first half of 2026, Armenia's state budget revenues amounted to 1.643 trillion drams, achieving 106% of the target set in the revised budget plan for the reporting period, the press service of the Ministry of Finance reported.

"Compared to the same period last year, state budget revenues increased by 14.7%, or 210.1 billion drams," the statement noted.

The Ministry of Finance reported that state budget expenditures for the reporting period amounted to 1.576 trillion drams, achieving 83.2% of the revised budget plan. Compared to the same period in 2025, state budget expenditures increased by 7%, or 103.6 billion drams.

According to the results of the first half of 2026, Armenia's state budget was executed with a surplus of 67.3 billion drams. Previously, a deficit of 342.4 billion drams was planned for the first half of the year, while for the same period last year, the budget was executed with a deficit of 39.2 billion drams, the Ministry of Finance noted.
