Industrial production in Armenia increased by 9.5% in January-July 2026, reaching 1.79 trillion drams

Industrial production in Armenia in January-July 2026 amounted to 1,793,077.8 million drams, an increase of 9.5% compared to January-July 2025, according to data from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

YEREVAN, September 7. /ARKA/. Industrial production in Armenia in January-July 2026 amounted to 1,793,077.8 million drams, an increase of 9.5% compared to January-July 2025, according to data from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

In July alone, industrial production amounted to 270.6 billion drams, 3.1% more than in July 2025 and 5.5% higher than in June 2026.

The largest volume of industrial production over the seven months was in the manufacturing industry – 1.12 billion drams (an increase of 7.2% year-on-year). Next came the mining and open-pit mining industry, with AMD 422.1 billion (an increase of 26.5%); the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector, with AMD 227.2 billion (unchanged); and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and recycling, with AMD 18.6 billion (an increase of 2.8%).

The manufacturing industry accounted for the largest share of industrial production in January-July 2026, accounting for 62.8%. The share of mining and open-pit mining was 23.5%, the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector, with 12.7%, and water supply, sewerage, waste management, and recycling, with 1%.
