YEREVAN, October 2. /ARKA/. At its Thursday’s meeting the Armenian government approved the draft treaty on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union.

Armenia’s deputy minister of finance Suren Karayan read the main clauses of the treaty out in presenting the issue.

The premier Hovik Abrahamyan has given two days to the public agencies to finalize the approval and verify the equivalence of the Armenian version.

The text of the draft treaty was published by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on September 26. The link to the text of the document is posted on the ministry’s website.

The document is expected to be signed at an upcoming summit of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk, Belarus, on October 9-10. –0--
