YEREVAN, April 1. /ARKA/. Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the Assyrian community on Ha b-Nisan holiday (Assyrian New Year, according to the ancient calendar).

“I have no doubts the centuries’ neighborhood, friendship and cultural interpenetration between the Armenian and the Assyrian peoples is continuing. We will be enriching and strengthening each other”, said the president in his message as quoted by Novosti-Armenia.

Let the coming year bring Assyrians fruitful initiatives and new achievements, the president said. –0--
