YEREVAN, May 29. /ARKA/. Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan congratulates Ukrainian president-elect Pyotr Poroshenko, the press office of Armenian president reported.

Sargsyan wished Poroshenko success in addressing the challenges faced by Ukraine to ensure socioeconomic development and consolidation in the country, according to the report.

Sargsyan expressed confidence systematic building of Armenia-Ukraine interaction, activation of trade and economy ties and continuous development of humanitarian cooperation will facilitate further enhancement of centuries-old friendly relationship between Armenian and Ukrainian people.

Armenian president wished peace and prosperity to the Ukrainian people, according to the report.

The leader of the presidential campaign tycoon Pyotr Poroshenko obtained 54.59% of 97.81% votes processed in the presidential election held in Ukraine on May 25. –0—
