Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is in Munich to attend the Security Conference, discussed a  set of key issues of Armenia-EU partnership with European Council President Antonio Costa, Pashinyan’s press office reported.

YEREVAN, February 14. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is in Munich to attend the Security Conference, discussed a  set of key issues of Armenia-EU partnership with European Council President Antonio Costa, Pashinyan’s press office reported.

It said Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the EU's continuous support to the consistent advancement of democratic reforms in Armenia. According to him, the full implementation of the reform agenda is one of the priorities of the Armenian government.  

He also noted that Armenia prioritizes the expansion and promotion of multilateral ties with the EU in order to further develop the potential in various spheres.

In his turn, Antonio Costa welcomed the steps of the Armenian government towards strengthening democracy and implementation of institutional reforms. He expressed the EU's commitment to strengthening the partnership based on common values and deepening cooperation in all fields.

Costa welcomed the steps and initiatives of the Armenian government directed towards peace in the region.

The sides discussed also some issues related to the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, possibilities of unblocking the regional communications, the project of the Armenian Government Crossroads of Peace.-0-
