YEREVAN, August 11. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian. This information was provided by the press secretary of the Armenian Prime Minister, Nazeli Baghdasaryan.

The prime minister presented the results of the talks held in Washington, D.C., to the Iranian president, emphasizing the opportunities that the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan opens up for the region.

Pashinyan stressed that regional communication channels will operate within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction of countries, as well as on the basis of reciprocity.

Pashinyan thanked Pezeshkian for his objective assessment of the Washington agreements and stressed the importance of Pezeshkian's upcoming visit to Armenia.-0-
