Armenia’s central electoral commission approved the schedule of local government elections in the country, head of the commission Tigran Mukuchyan said at a meeting.
YEREVAN, February 22. /ARKA/. Armenia’s central electoral commission approved the schedule of local government elections in the country, head of the commission Tigran Mukuchyan said at a meeting.
As per the election code provisions, the elections of local governments in Armenia are to be held on May 26, November 17 and December 8, 2013, he said.
Under the election code, local government elections, apart from mayoral elections, are allowed to be held up to four times in a year. The specific dates are set by the central electoral commission. –0--
