EREVAN, October 2. / ARKA /. Armenian Prezident Serzh Sargsyan denied today he was a gambler adding also he never stepped inside a Europe’s casino.
Sargsyan’s remarks came in response to a question from Zaruhi Postanjyan, an MP from Armenian opposition Heritage party who wanted to know who paid the 70 million euros the president allegedly lost in a European casino.
"Your allegation about my being a gambler is another fruit of your imagination. I've never been in any casino in Europe. I am not a gambler. Unfortunately, I have no way to dispose of 70 million euros. If I had the chance, I would give some of that money to you for you to be more satisfied with your life and not have accumulated so much anger, " said the president.
President Sargsyan was invited to make a speech at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in Strasbourg today. -0-
